How frustrating! As the road people “upgrade” traffic lights at 83 and 47, cm zoo, Avalon Blvd, they are retiming them to a fixed time, including left hand turns when no one is waiting. In fact, not enough time is given to northbound traffic on Route 9 at Route 50, so there is always a backup. Please bring back the on demand feature at these lights. Anyone who uses them on weekends in the summer knows that the already bad traffic has gotten worse at these intersections.
