Democrats are at it again, twisting words and putting their own spin on them, this time in a negative tv ad. In a response to a question about sales tax, Jack Ciattarelli commented that Tennessee had a 10% sales tax including on food and clothing that replaces their income tax. He in no way indicated he was in favor of anything like that, like the ad would have you believe, but he did say he would look at options. The ad conveniently left out “Tennessee” and most of the rest of the comment. Very dishonest.
