Del Haven - As a taxpayer, I am appalled at the increase the township gave to one employee. It's my understanding there is a 2 percent cap when there is an increase in pay but, most importantly the position has to be posted under Civil Service and others who have the qualifications can also apply for that new job title. There is someone already in that position and does that employee now make more, and if so, where is his increase? Shame on Middle Township for rewarding one employee that amount of money instead of those who are deserving.
