Del Haven - A point needs to be made concerning Van Drew's change of alliance. Van Drew did not leave the Democratic Party. They left him. He stood fast with his principles and ethics that were once known as part of a Democratic platform, which now have been eroded away and changed into something that severely lack any form of reason and virtue. Van Drew has shown us something we thought was disappearing, the ability to walk away when you know something isn't right despite tremendous pressure from all sides, and showing amazing amounts of courage.
