Del Haven - As a parent of a special needs/non-verbal child, I was appalled to see the spouts about the parents of the mentally challenged kid in Villas. As parents of non-verbal children, we are doing the best we can. I know the parents of that special needs kid. Our kid yells, whistles, clicks. That's their way of communicating. He/she plays outside in their yard sometimes in the rain. They are never unsupervised. Just because you can't see us doesn't mean we're neglecting our children. We're always watching, just trying to give them some freedom. We love our kids more than anyone. We're all God's children.
