A USS jacob Jones monument is being proposed to be erected down at the Cove end on the new red brick patio. 32 feet high. Bike racks will be removed to fit this statue in. This navy ship was torpedoed by a Nazi submarine during WW2 off of Delaware. Surely a better location can be found. Perhaps on top of the WW2 bunker where there is plenty of parking. A hearing is set at City Hall on May 29th. Please attend.
