Under the radar there is an EXTREMELY SERIOUS issue with ambulance coverage in the county. It needs to be addressed, quickly! A neighbor was found on the floor by family, he had a stroke 2 years ago and they feared the worse. Time is critical but it took close to 25 minutes for an ambulance to arrive. The EMT’s and Paramedics are OUTSTANDING, it’s not their fault! They are over worked & underpaid! With more residents here year round & more coming, these ambulance “businesses” need to stage better, hire more, and work with municipalities fire/rescue. The latter could literally fix this!
