I think it is ridiculous that Clarence Thomas says he didn’t know it was wrong or unethical to accept lavish gifts from a notorious political contributor. I worked for a nonprofit and we were not even allowed to take someone to lunch at McDonalds. I think a 7th grader would understand what a “conflict” of interest” means. We thought a former president was untouchable when it comes to unethical and fraudulent behavior. Now it’s time for other untouchables to be held accountable.
