DC s not the 3rd most dangerous city in the country, as one Spouter randomly suggested. I work there and walk through it every day. Is it dirty and run down? Yes. Is it sad and emptier and less vibrant than before Covid? Yes. But guess what…it takes FUNDING to support a city. Funding for public works, staff, shelters, and programs to get people off the streets. Oh, and funding to renovate the disgusting federal buildings black with mold and falling down. Guess who is withholding the funding? Trump, as usual, is fabricating a problem so he can pretend to fix it and act tough.
