Court House - Why is the northbound lane of the Parkway through Court House still considered a work zone? I haven't seen so much as a traffic cone in months. The southbound lane is a 65 mph zone but the north side is still 45 mph with trash bags taped over the 65 mph signs. Did they just forget to take the signs down? Or are State Police milking this speed trap for all it's worth? Why won't they switch it over to a 65? Am I missing something?
Moderator's Note:
The Parkway project will not be completed until three more inches of asphalt is placed on the highway. That cannot take place until the weather warms to the point that the temperature is at least 60 degrees for five days (without rain). It is projected that will be in late spring of this year, hence, the signs remain.
