Why can't we in America have young, attractive, smart political

Court House - Why can't we in America have young, attractive, smart political leaders who appeal to the young and the disenchanted? Watching the French election, there is now a 39-year-old as president. The Canadian prime minister and the former Italian prime minister are young, but we seem to make age a prerequisite here. No wonder millennials aren't voting in big numbers.
