What's with all these 'tip' jars showing up again?

Court House - What's with all these 'tip' jars showing up again? I consider myself a good tipper, usually leaving a minimum of 20% (even for poor service) and up to 25% or more for good service. I tip a lot of people but now I should tip the hostess who shows me to my table? The person who slices my lunch meat? If we didn't frequent those places, they wouldn't have jobs.
