A very young child in the seat of a shopping cart was loudly cry

Court House - A very young child in the seat of a shopping cart was loudly crying and pleading with his mother, "Mommy, do-do" over and over. Instead of taking the child to the restroom the mother told the child to "shut up" and allowed him to hang his head and cry while she continued to shop. I surely hope this child was not punished when he got home. What kind of mother does this to a young child?
