Court House - To an Upper Township spouter who complains of money being earmarked for bike paths and not roads: It has been proven by many independent studies that bike paths bring money into a community via tourism and money spent at local establishments. Motels, campgrounds, supermarkets, antique shops, etc. will all benefit from increased visitation using bike trails and paths. It could increase our tourism economy from five months to possibly 10 or 12 months if our county is snow and ice free. Yes, roads are important, but they will never grow our local economy unless we extend Rt. 55 to Wildwood.
