His objection is to ballots mailed to everyone on voter registration lists, even though they may not have been updated in years, to reflect change of address or death. A person who moved often could possibly have ballots mailed to several addresses. Extra ballots are subject to fraud. Trump is casting his own vote by absentee ballot, which requires application, verification of eligibility, and signature. The volume mailing underway does not afford time for accurate verification.
