Court House - There is a new initiative in this state. Titled " Path to progress." Among its goals is consolidation of school districts - K-8 through 12 grades becoming one district, one school superintendent per county, with grants to be awarded towns which study consolidation. Shared services among municipalities will be encouraged. Reformed pensions and health care for public employees. All savings from these reforms will be directed to reduce property taxes. If not enacted by our legislative bodies, the proposal will be placed on the ballot box for citizens to vote. Any thoughts?
