Court House - Thank you, Mr. Hall, for your recent letter concerning the split in Methodism. I attended a Methodist church for many years, never a member, but as a guest. Many good parishioners, but the church council districts are slowly destroying local churches and parishioners. District policies and interpretations are not in tune with scripture or true Christianity. Many districts are in the habit of transferring beloved ministers every five to seven years. This policy just destroys the church and breaks the spirit and will of the congregation. Many more will vote with their feet as they resign.
