Court House - To the Spouter from Stone Harbor who said: “I don’t get the dust up over abortion. Abortion was never a guaranteed right in the constitution.” The “dust up” was never about abortion itself, it was, and is, about the underlying principle of “self-determination”, you know, “freedom”. Without self-determination, the words “Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness” are just squiggles on an old piece of parchment. And while the Declaration is not the Constitution, it set forth the ideas and principles behind a just and fair government. We should follow them.
