Court House - Some island towns want to eliminate the county Open Space fund for certain communities since they have no open space left. So mainland communities would have to fund this tax and islanders would drive over a bridge and use our open space and not pay a dime? Open space funds can create block long mini parks in many coastal towns. Funds can be used to create safe bike lanes and paths on the islands. The land is rapidly disappearing, even on the mainland, due to privately owned and impassible weed and vine-choked public land. Have a dream and make it happen.
