Many negatives include more traffic and pollution, more urban sprawl of strip malls and suburban tract housing developments. Local people would be forced out due to rising rent and housing unaffordability. Many more people relocating to our county, increasing need for social services, schools, police, municipal workers, rising property taxes. Only way to extend rt. 55 is planned development and more open space.
