Court House - Rt. 55 is an example of how all N.J. highways should be. No tolls! There is no justification for tolls anywhere in N.J. Highways and bridges can be maintained by gas taxes alone, like Rt. 55, even if gas taxes have to go up. We are paying tolls just to pay the people who collect the tolls. Toll revenues go towards toll collection enforcement. Tolls slow traffic, increase accident risk and make N.J. unfriendly to tourism and business.
