Court House - President Biden has just proposed a national federal moratorium on tenant evictions and foreclosures thru September 2021. Gov. Murphy has stated he will not lift tenant evictions until two months after covid 19 is declared over. This takes us to 2022 with no rent . But, the virus is mutating and still spreading, and infection rates are up. The eviction ban could be extended indefinitely. Bottom line is landlords will never receive back rent. Tenants will declare bankruptcy and never pay a dime. Our constitution and property rights are being violated.
