Court House - Open space is usually bought from the private sector. Playgrounds, bike paths, etc., are on township property. Open space is bought to preserve the land so that it can't be developed to keep less density from developers. The playgrounds, etc., should be a township expense for that town's taxpayers, not from the taxpayers of another town. Why should Upper Twp. residents pay for a playground in Stone Harbor?
