Court House - New Jersey "Move Over Law" states that you should move over into the other lane when safe to do so, when passing a vehicle displaying warning lights on a shoulder of a roadway. This includes United States postal vehicles. As a carrier, I can't tell you how often I'm frightened by passing vehicles, especially tri-axle dump trucks coming within inches of our vehicles. Please move over!
