Court House - Many thanks to the county corrections officers who responded to the mayhem on the boardwalk over Memorial Day weekend. I often stated, in times of civil unrest, correctional staff would be called upon to restore order. If only Lodge 7 would treat correctional officers as law enforcement. Perhaps the union should reinstate seniority and shift bidding, and jail administrators should treat officers as true professionals. It is time for the union president to buy me a stale beer and a slice of week-old pizza. No reason we cannot be friends.
