Court House - Lawsuits against police departments for excessive force and other wrongdoing should be paid out of police pensions, not taxpayer dollars. This is the only way police departments will start taking responsibility for their negative actions. Taxpayers should not be responsible for paying out these lawsuits, and most of the time police unions protect their own, including some of their most egregious offenders.
