Court House - It's very sad that the zoo would choose to destroy acres of native habitat to install 1432 new parking spaces. I live near the back entrance and drive past the parking lot daily-it is very rarely full. I find it hard to believe that (even on the busiest days) the zoo is turning away 1400+ vehicles-so where did this number come from? It's a shame that more creative solutions were not attempted first, like maybe charging a small, hourly fee to park. This might even encourage more use of our beautiful bike path, which happens to go directly to the zoo.
