Court House - Is it time for state-mandated shared services for New Jersey? Middle Township's sewer went up $80 a year. Our trash collection provider provided a new bid that increased the contract 49%. Who in business can increase prices by that amount and not be forced out of business by the competition? Imagine the savings if we merged all the sewer departments. Imagine the savings if Middle contracted out trash collection to a town that had their own trash trucks. Taxpayers are being fleeced and nickle and dimed to death. We want shared services.
