Court House - It is an open secret that every coastal community in Pennsylvania and New Jersey is preparing for rising waters. One-hundred-year plans are being discussed as well as plans for the more frequent flooding. Some communities envision a day when our barrier islands will no longer be able to sustain residential life. Houston had no master plan and no zoning requirements. Had we had the foresight and intelligence of Holland, we would be in better shape. Instead, we have allowed greed to rule and we have overdeveloped coastal areas.
