Court House - If it is 70 degrees out, the inside of your car can be 95 degrees within the time it takes you to get a cup of coffee even if you leave windows open. Studies have shown that cracking windows even four to six inches makes little difference in the temperature a child or pet left in the car will have to endure. Do everyone a favor. Leave kids and pets at home when you shop. If you can't, take a second adult who can stay with them. Be sure to carry water in your car for people and pets. Call 911 or the police, if you see a child or person in distress.
