I am certain affordable rental housing will not return to New Jersey. When landlords are referred to as slum lords, and other unsavory comments, you know the same people that actually provide nice places to rent at very affordable prices, and cannot collect rent or evict for every reason under the sun, who wants to be a landlord? I have talked to tenants, politicians, numerous organizations, and everybody has rights, but landlords have no right to collect rent or evict for cause. Hence, now we have a huge homeless problem in our county and nation. We have to talk.
