Court House - I agree with a spouter from North Wildwood that it makes sense to have the 70-foot electric poles on roads like Stone Harbor Blvd. and other barrier island entrance roads. As I live on the Blvd. and have one of these poles across the street from my home, I have seen the top of the wooden, northeast-located poles snap during several different storms in the past. I disagree that tall poles are needed on the islands, as the poles are protected by homes. A 40-foot galvanized pole could do the same job and not be as onerous as the behemoths that are an ugly eyesore on smaller neighborhood streets.
