Court House - Hats off to the Middle Twp. Police Department for reminding people to check their back seat and not leave kids or pets in cars with an electronic sign in Rio Grande. Last week in another state a father left his baby in the back seat while he went to work. The baby died. News also showed multiple states and circumstances where pets were left in hot cars who were rescued by police or passersby. It is a crime to endanger living beings in this way. If you see a child or pet left in a hot car, call 911. Do not take the time to seek out the driver.
