Court House - Don't give too much credence to the thumbs up and down on this forum. Sometimes when I view the spouts, the thumbs say, 'You voted '+/-1,' when I haven't even read or voted yet. I clicked on a thumbs down, it was highlighted, but the number counted towards the thumbs up tally. Anyone else have this problem? Hopefully it is a fixable software glitch and not a purposeful manipulation of the system.

Moderator's Note:
If you are logged in to the Herald website, the votes cast should be yours. If you're not logged in and operating on the website as an anonymous user, the system will identify votes cast based on your IP address. This means that people on the same network such as shared wifi, multiple computers in one house, a public location such as a restaurant or library, etc., share a vote if they’re not logged in. Since you are stating that you haven't cast the votes that you are seeing, most likely you are acting as an anonymous user and others are casting votes using the same IP address as you. I suggest creating a Herald account to achieve an accurate representation of your own votes. Also, keep in mind that there is a one day turn-around time for anonymous votes. If a user votes anonymously and returns 1-23 hours later, their vote persists. If a user visits 25 hours after casting a vote, their vote counts, but that user may vote again.
