Court House - Do not leave your child or pet in a car in the sun. When it is 70 degrees outside, it will be 90 degrees inside the car within 10 minutes, and over 100 degrees in 30 minutes, even with the windows open. At 85 degrees, tt will be 100 in eight minutes. Studies show open windows make no difference. Babies and pets die every year, forgotten in the back seat while their protector ran an errand for a few moments. Leave them at home. Call police if you notice a child or pet left in a hot car.
