Court House - Can someone please explain why a president, any president, is limited to two terms in office, but yet it's perfectly all right for a congressman or senator to serve indefinitely, if re-elected? I ask because LoBiondo, at age 68, who once promised to serve only five terms, has been in office since 1995. How is this representative democracy?

The 22nd Amendment to the Constitution was passed, limiting terms for the office of president, which doesn't apply to Congress.
