Can someone explain to me why in 2020 in a Township that has Tri

COURT HOUSE - Can someone explain to me why in 2020 in a Township that has Tripled in taxable properties over the last few years but does not have a Police Force..I believe the other 2 townships in Cape May County do have a Local Police Force. Upper twp relies on State Police in Woodbine several miles away. Why is this allowed by NJ leadership?. I live in Middle twp and my taxes pay for Police why can't Upper twp Residents pay for a Police Force...I would love to hear an answer from our local Representatives serving in Trenton, but, suspect they don't have the back bone to take up this issue.
