Court House - With all due respect to the spouter from Sea Isle City, we do not need more preserved open space. In a county that is 60% water, half of our land is already preserved open space or part of the National Wildlife Refuge. That leaves only 20% of Cape May County available for development. Further restricting land use will only drive up housing prices - which may be nice for homeowners in Sea Isle City, but it would be a gut punch for the young, part-time workers who make our seasonal economy possible. For those aspiring homeowners, we need to increase our housing supply, not restrain it.
