Thank you Robert Brown for writing about your experience as a landlord in this week's Herald. As you stated, tenants who do not pay rent, cannot be evicted for months and even over a year, have destroyed affordable housing. Landlords also have to pay all utilities and legal costs of eviction while dead beats sponge off society like a deadly parasite. To create housing, laws must change now. It is time to write letters and call Sen Mike Testa and tell him we need tenant / landlord reform laws yesterday.
