What happens nationally impacts everything down to the local level. A SCOTUS ruling that overturns Roe V Wade reverberates with an avalanche of new draconian State and Local laws outlawing or severely restricting abortion rights for women. And knowing now that undue, unethical influences may have played a part just makes it all the more unpalatable.
