You do realize that Fed interest rates have gone up 9 times since this time last year, don’t you? It went from 0.25% in March of 2022, to 5.0% in March of this year. So, if every added 0.25% is a 100% increase from the base line of March 2022, they’ve gone up 1900% so far, so a 3% credit card fee doesn’t seem all that bad.
