For several weeks now I have noticed county workers with two large pumps at the County Park east (between the GSP and Rt. 9). It appears as though they are pumping water out of the small pond there into storm drains. At times there are 4 or 5 employees there sitting in trucks watching these pumps. Exactly what is the purpose for this, and why so many workers to monitor this?
