With Romney challenging Jeb Bush for the moderate Republican vote, Chris Christie waited too long to jump in. With rivals sparring for the same voters, Democrats will gleefully point to Christie's low achievement record in our state as another reason not to vote for him. Christie cannot run on any achievements here without attracting media scrutiny and skepticism.
