Regular viewers of NJTV know how extensive the problem of lead contamination in water pipes in our schools is, particularly in buildings that went up before the 1960s. Yet not one local school is reported to have had its water tested for extensive lead. If schools built in Newark and Elizabeth are now using bottled water for their kids, shouldn't at least local school boards here do some similar diligence?
