Middle Township has informed business owners and landlords they must purchase a license proving they are insured for liability for a minimum of $ 500,000. A fee of $75 must be paid to copy a ONE PAGE declaration. A late fee of $75 will be charged after January 31. All businesses I know have maximum coverage. Rental housing stock has quickly been declining, and this will only cause more landlords to sell or convert into seasonal rentals. This means more people will leave the county or become homeless. Call 609-465-8721 and ask council to eliminate this ridiculous fee to copy one page. Ideas?
