The Make Mine Chocolate campaign urges people to really consider the challenges of a live rabbit for Easter before adding one to their family. Citing that 95 percent of Easter rabbits do not make it for one year after "adoption," they suggest it would be better to give a chocolate rabbit. Soft, stuffed rabbits are good too.
