Cape May Court House

To Jack Crab who asked: “Remember when we had one Election Day?” Yes, because there is still just “one Election Day.” The law states that voters need to cast their ballots BY Election Day, but the law does not prevent them from voting earlier, nor by mail. The results of National contests, however, were never officially announced on election day. National news outlets took it upon themselves, for a time, to “project” winners and losers, remember “Dewey defeats Truman?” If people question counts that take days, don’t you think they’d question counts that are purported to be completed in hours?
