I'm very upset with how long it took EMTs to respond to a choking emergency at my job last week and the lack of urgency as soon as the EMTS arrived, sitting in the car and having to be prompted to get out being on their phones. No sense of urgency. It took 13 mins from the time we placed the call for 2 EMTS to response to a medical emergency while staff member were preforming the heimlich and a CPR, with he closest station in 3 mins away.
