I was surprised to read that Barb Tomalino is seeking the Republican Party’s support for freeholder. I recall Tomalino being part of a group that tried to oust Gerry Thornton several years back. They tried to force Thornton out of office because of a vote on a bridge but Thornton stood up to the party leaders on behalf of us taxpayers. I was not surprised to see Lockwood and Donohue jumping aboard to support her.
