With gas prices high and climbing, most of us are watching our consumption and being more careful. I hope this will extend to our town officials as well. I still think about two police vehicles running for more than a half hour outside a local restaurant while the officers ate inside during a gas crisis several years ago. Granted one of these vehicles was a dog unit, however, we're all making adjustments in how we're doing things, not just gas, and we should expect our town officials to do the same. Please be more responsible with our tax dollars.
